Rainbow Moonstone is a member of the Feldspar group of minerals, known as Orthoclase and as such,  is actually related to Labradorite. The layers of the minerals Orthoclase and Albite allow light to reflect the beautiful rainbow sheen and angular lines of different colours can sometimes be seen.

Often referred to as a ‘Stone of New Beginnings,’ Moonstone can be a great support when undertaking new ventures. It balances the male-female energy and carries a strong connection to the moon.
Moonstone rules the emotions and helps calm you when emotional wounds are triggered. It will stabilize them to provide emotional healing and can be used to draw out old emotional patterns so you can move past them.
