CHAKRA SYMBOLISM

Chakras are spinnning energy centres within our body, located in specific areas and allow vital life energy to flow through when they are healthy and aligned. The ancient Indian Hindus developed the idea of chakras using the spiritual practice of Kundalini yoga.  Each chakra is represented by a colour and has a mandala and Sanskrit name depicting their shape, as seen by ancient Hindu mystics.

The seven main chakras are represented in this pendant by Garnet, Carnelian, Citrine, Peridot, Blue Topaz, Iolite and Amethyst.

Please note that all jewellery is measured from the top of the item, to the bottom of the item (pendant measurements include the bail, earring measurements include the hook, etc).
